Mount Zion
Description:
Mount Zion, which is located near the city of Jerusalem, is a symbol of the “promised land” of Jews around the world. For many centuries it has been a place of pilgrimage for Jews and some other religions. The most important places to visit the mountain are the tomb of King David, the Assumption Monastery, and the chamber of the Holy Supper.
To get to the mall of the Last Supper, the tomb of King David and the Assumption Monastery, you need to use buses No. 1, 2 (which follow to the Garbage Gate) or No. 20 and 38 to the Jaffa Gate (and from there on foot to the Zion Gate).
