The Kedrone Valley is a valley of biblical stories that is located near Old Jerusalem. The locals most often call it Josaphat Valley. And the word cedron means something gloomy. This place is considered sacred and open to people of all religions. In the Qedron Valley, the sound of an archangel’s trumpet will one day sound and dead souls will appear before God’s judgment. In the valley there are many tombs and burials, and on its slopes the city continues.
You can get to the Kedrone Valley by public transport to the east of Jerusalem. It is best to climb on foot so as not to miss the beautiful view.
