The Dome of the Rock

One of the main attractions in Jerusalem is the Dome of the Rock Mosque.

It is located on the highest point of the Temple Mount in the Old City. It is easily recognized by the huge dome covered with gold. It is too visible in the middle of the buildings of gray and white stone.

The location of the mosque allows tourists to reach it with any of the following options:

• buses that stop near the mosque: 764, 111, 76, 51, 43, 5, 3, 1.

• A taxi is fast and convenient, but it is expensive in Israel.

• Another way is a high-speed tram. He drives on the same route, so you can’t get lost.
• You can rent a car and leave it for the duration of the tour, paying for parking.
• Once in the Old Town, it is not difficult to find the Dome of the Rock, as it is visible from everywhere.
