Garden tomb
Conrad Schick St, Jerusalem, Israel
Description:
The tomb in the garden is the supposed place where the body of Jesus Christ was laid and where he rose from the dead. This event is mentioned in the four Gospels of the New Testament. This place is the most revered among Protestant Christians and is an alternative to the shrine of the famous Holy Sepulchre.
The garden has a beautiful design and attracts a considerable number of tourists. It is located in the Arab quarter of Sheikh Jarakh, near the Damascus Gate. In the garden, a quiet, peaceful atmosphere is created, which promotes worship and meditation on the main Christian truth – the resurrection of Christ.
