Liberty Bell Park

Intersection of Keren Hayesod and King David Street, Jerusalem, Israel

Description:

Liberty Bell Park is one of the largest city parks in Jerusalem, with an area of about 9 hectares. It was founded and opened in 1976 to celebrate the bicentenary of the United States. In its center is a copy of the famous American Liberty Bell.

The park is a cozy place for family pastime, rest and picnics. The territory is perfectly equipped for children and adults active recreation: there are basketball courts, children's playgrounds, including a dragon sculpture, an amphitheater for a thousand seats, a roller skating rink, performance areas, the puppet theater "Karon", and, of course, soft trimmed lawns, gazebos, benches and shady corners.
