Description:
This monastery is one of the most famous and photogenic. It was not located in a very large valley at a distance of about two kilometers west of the Jaffa Gate of the famous old city. Around it there is a sufficient amount of greenery and due to its atmosphere, the place attracts a large crowd of tourists who make beautiful photos against its background. At one time the monastery was destroyed, but later it was rebuilt to its best condition.
