Museum and memorial on the Arsenal Hill

Givat Ha-Tachmoshet, Jerusalem, Israel

About the company:

The museum and memorial on the Arsenal Hill were created in memory of the 182 Jewish soldiers who died during the defense of Jerusalem in the Six-Day War. The battle for the Arsenal Hill took place in June 1967 in a military clash between Israel and Jordan.

In 1975, on the site of the surrendered fortified position of the Jordanian army, a memorial was erected, which is visited by more than two hundred thousand visitors a year. There is a permanent exhibition "Givat Ha-Tahmoshet", which tells about the Six-Day War, during a tour in which you can walk through military bunkers and tunnels. Also in the evening there is a light-sound performance “Battle for Jerusalem”.
