Museum of musical instruments

The Museum of Musical Instruments is one of the most interesting museums in Jerusalem. The exposition of the museum is located in the building of the Rubin Academy of Music and Dance, on the university campus of Givat Ram. This is a unique educational institution, where you can start training at a very young age, then continue it in middle classes, and subsequently get higher education and a master's degree.

The exhibition of the Museum of Musical Instruments, opened in 1963, tells about the history of music from ancient times to the present. The stands of the museum present the musical culture of different states and eras. Numerous exhibits, including very original musical instruments, are distributed by family. A separate exhibition is devoted to musical instruments of the ancient period.
