Egged Passenger Transport Museum
About the company:
The Egged Passenger Transport Museum reveals the history of public transport, from British Army trucks converted to passenger transport after World War II to modern double-decker and air-conditioned buses.
More than 60 buses have been assembled, built and refurbished to showcase Israel’s nearly 70-year history of public transport. For example, here you can see the Leyland bus, which was made in the UK in 1968 specifically for carnivals and desert safari tours.
Entrance to the museum is free. It can be visited from Sunday to Thursday from 8 am to 1 pm, and on Friday from 8 to half of the 1st. All days, except Friday, need a preliminary agreement.
