Shmu'el Mohilever 6, Jerusalem, Israel
About the company:
The Jerusalem Museum of Nature is located in an ancient mansion of the late XIX century, owned by the rich Armenian merchant Lazarus Paul Margaryan. The first owner of the mansion planted a lush garden around the house. In early 1907, the building passed into the ownership of the Ottoman authorities and was the residence for numerous institutions. In 1962, the Museum of Nature was opened for the general public. The exposition of the museum is extensive and includes several thematic sections: biology, ecology and human anatomy. A significant part of the exhibition is devoted to the species of birds, mammals and reptiles living in Israel. One of the major thematic blocks is devoted to the theme of dinosaurs.
Numerous thematic exhibitions are devoted to life sciences, the study of migration routes of birds, features of the structure of the human body and many others. Here are stuffed animals of different species, including not preserved. At the Museum of Nature there are various circles for young naturalists, there is a children's summer camp, there are preparatory courses for admission to universities. Everyone here will find something to their liking.
