Sphela Museum

Shfela is an interesting historical museum in Israel. It is located 35 kilometers from Jerusalem.

In the museum you can see one of the defense structures of the Jewish settlements of the type “Homa u-Migdal” (“Wall and Tower”). Homa u-Migdal was a settlement-building tactic used by the country’s Jewish population during the 1936-1939 Arab uprising. The museum also houses a collection of archaeological finds from the region. Periodically, traveling art exhibitions are held here.

The museum is open from Sunday to Thursday from 08:30 to 12:30.
