Old Yishuv Museum

6 Or Hahayim Street, Jerusalem, Israel

About the company:

The Old Yishuv Museum is located in the heart of the Jewish Quarter in the Old City of Jerusalem in a building built in the XVI century. The museum provides visitors with original artifacts and exhibits that immerse you in the past of a Jewish settlement from the Ottoman Turkish period (1517) to the last days of the British Mandate in 1948.

It shows the daily life of Old Jewish Jerusalem: art and craftsmanship, household use and decoration of houses of middle families, customs associated with Jewish weddings and births of children, toys and antique medicines.

The museum has both permanent and temporary exhibitions. Visitors are offered an excursion program.
