Poleg River

The river is popular because of the picturesque landscapes that stretch along its banks. The interesting thing is that Highways 2 and 4, the railway crossing the riverbed, does not intersect with other reservoirs in Israel. It is invaluable in agriculture because it does not dry out. There are also two reserves nearby, which are free of charge. Interestingly, there is a turtle farm nearby. At a certain time, turtles are released, and then the most tourists gather. You can get to the river yourself by renting a car, or as part of tourist groups.
