Tel Aviv

4,000-year-old Jaffa, port and city

Description:

Old Jaffa is a satellite of Tel Aviv, a city about 4,000 years old. During this time, so much has happened here that a lifetime will not be enough to tell everything, but during our tour we will understand all the most interesting and important things that this ancient port can tell.

We will visit the museums and workshops of Ilana Gur and Frank Meisler, see the Floating Orange Tree, understand what Napoleon himself did here and how it is connected with the modern history of the State of Israel. I will show you my favorite places: the house of Simon the Tanner, the rocks where Perseus saved Andromeda, the Franciscan Church of the Apostle Peter, the alleys of the zodiac constellations and the source of wish fulfillment, and of course in the old Jaffa house we can taste pomegranate wine and liquor.

Greek myths, Judaism, the first Christian church, mosques..., Turkish sheds. Napoleon, the Crusaders, Pharaoh Ramses, the Apostle Peter.

Who has not seen the old walls of Jaffa houses? They are used to not being surprised, as are the wise Jaffa cats. And of course, artists, sculptors and jewelers of ancient Jaffa. A panoramic platform with the Vera Gate and a soaring orange, a source of wish fulfillment and Turkish guns. What's not there?
You are waiting for unforgettable impressions and good emotions.
