Christian Holy Places of Judea (in one day)

Description:

If there is very little time on the tour, but at least the most important thing you want to see - choose this route. In one day (tiring, but unforgettable) we will visit the main Christian shrines of Judea, namely: the True Place of the Baptism of Jesus, the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem.

We will begin our itinerary on the Jordan River, where Jesus came and where, like him, you can take a bath in the Holy Jordan waters.

Then, having passed the Judean desert, we will go up to the observation deck of the Mount of Olives, where we will discuss the events of Holy Week and then go to Bethlehem, the city where Jesus was born.

In Bethlehem, we will visit the Church of the Nativity of Christ, where we will descend to the Holy Cave to the place of the birth of the Child Jesus. We will talk about the unique history of this one of the oldest churches in the world and the gifts of the Imperial House of Romanov, which still adorn the majestic Temple.

After leaving Bethlehem, we will go to the Jaffa Gate of the Old City of Jerusalem. Entering the Old City and covering a short distance, we will find ourselves in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher (Temple of the Resurrection), the greatest shrine of Catholics and Orthodox. We will visit the last five Stations of the Way of the Cross, go up to Calvary (the place of the crucifixion) and enter the Kuvuklia (the place of the burial and resurrection) of Jesus.

If desired, you can complete this route at the Western Wall.
