Ayalon River
Description:
Along the banks of the Ayalon River in Israel there are parks where you can walk. The river itself is not very large, it sometimes dries up in the summer and in severe heat. It has its name from the Canaanite city of Ayalon. On one of the sections of its banks are lined with concrete - where it passes next to a major highway. The river isn't dirty.
The river from the city can be reached in several ways. Walking the route takes 40 minutes on maps (although tourists who do not know the language can take 50 minutes, that is almost an hour). Take a taxi in four minutes, and take bus number 2703 from the moment of landing - in eight.
