Show me on the map

Description:

Once on the site of Tel Aviv stood the ancient city of Jaffa. And Arabs and Jews lived there. There was a port in the city with the same name.

However, it was controlled by the Arabs, and the Jewish community did not like it very much. And then it was decided to build another temporary port, called Namal. This happened in the thirties of the last century.

Then another new port was built, which is already modern. The old one was to the delight of the local fishermen. But over time, practical Israelis turned it into a kind of tourist center. There are regular exhibitions, shops with souvenirs, restaurants and cafes with fish cuisine, nightclubs In the port it is convenient and safe to walk with children - cars are prohibited from entering here.

You can get here by driving from Tel Aviv University along the Yarkhon River. Or along the embankment of the Mediterranean Sea, there is a lot of transport here.
