Israel Land Museum
2, Haim Levanon Street, Tel Aviv, Israel | Ramat Aviv
About the company:
The Land of Israel Museum, which sounds like Eretz Israel in Hebrew, is Israel’s largest scientific and historical museum. Its subjects are wide: from archaeology to folklore, from ethnography to Judaism, from the history of culture to creativity and craft. There are more than one hundred thousand exhibits telling about the formation of the Jewish people and its development of culture. The museum is located in eight pavilions, which are located in one of the city parks of Tel Aviv.
Near the museum, visitors can find archaeological excavations of the ancient settlement of Tel Qasil, mentioned in the Bible. There are olive oil presses, craft workshops, historic fire engines, an old mill and other exhibits.
