Jaffa (meaning "beautiful") was not so long ago an Arab city near Tel Aviv. Now there is one city - Tel Aviv-Jaffa. If you walk along the embankment along the line of skyscrapers past the old mosque, you get to Jaffa, one of the oldest ports in the Mediterranean. Above the sea stands a hill with a clock; from this hill Napoleon still looked into the distance. The emperor is reminiscent of the cannons and figures of soldiers placed there and there.
