Quebec Day
Description:
Quebec is a French-speaking province of Canada that plays a huge role in the development of Canada, like New York in the United States. The province of Quebec is a special world, not only within Canada, but for the entire North American continent.
The main holiday of Quebec is Jean-Baptiste Day (i.e. John the Baptist, considered the heavenly patron of French Canadians), sometimes referred to simply as Quebec Day. Jean-Baptiste Day is celebrated in the province much more magnificently than the Canadian national holiday - Canada Day. There are fun processions, dancing in the streets and evening fireworks.
