Lake Medicine
Medicine Lake, Jasper National Park, Improvement District No. 12, Alberta, Canada
Description:
Lake Medicine is located twenty kilometers southeast of the city of Jasper and is a kind of anomaly, since it is not a lake, but a river, suddenly disappearing in this place underground.
The lake has a huge amount of rainbow trout, which attracts a large number of fishermen in the summer season.
The animal population of the lake is also distinguished by its wealth - in the nearby forests there are black bear, wolves, moose, mountain sheep, deer and even grizzlies.
At the same time, the lake is relatively shallow, and its length is no more than seven kilometers. The lake traditionally attracts many tourists due to its location, the surrounding beauty of mountains and forests and the possibility of a relaxing holiday.
