About the company:
The Atlantic Maritime Museum is worth a visit if possible. It is located on the historic promenade in the heart of Halifax. This is where the history of Nova Scotia can be traced. At the dock is a research vessel from 1913, completely restored and repaired. There is also a grocery store and a small ship.
If you’re ever asked about the Titanic Museum, make no mistake, it’s about the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. After the wreck of the famous ship, the bodies were brought to Halifax in 1912. Of these, 150 people are buried here. The museum has a showcase that is entirely dedicated to the Titanic. Many relics are stored here, and there is also a fragment of the famous staircase.
It is not only the exhibitions that are famous for this wonderful place. The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic conducts scientific research. One of the most recent works is the study of endangered ship designs. In addition, you can see the collection of photographs of ships with more than 20,000 photographs.
