Fish Creek provincial park
Southern Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Description:
Fish Creek Provincial Park is one of the largest urban parks in North America. Its length is about 19 kilometers.
Fish Creek, which means “fish stream”, is named after a small river that flows along the entire park.
About 15 pedestrian bridges connect the banks of this river. The park has a large number of footpaths and bicycle paths.
Fish Creek is home to many wildlife, including deer, coyotes, owls and beavers, and there is a small stable in the park.
On the beach of Lake Sikome, located in the park, thousands of Calgary residents spend their weekends every summer.
