Lake La Biche

Lake La Biche is located in the central part of the province of Alberta in Canada, two hundred and twenty kilometers northeast of the city of Edmonton. It is divided into two parts by two islands. One of the largest and most beautiful lakes in Canada. The coastline is covered with bays of sand or gravel. The shores of the lake are hilly and covered with forests.

Beautiful landscapes attract many tourists from Canada and the United States to Lake La Biche. All the islands of the lake are declared a bird reserve. Sports fishing is currently permitted, while industrial fishing is prohibited to preserve and restore fish stocks.

Tourists can stay near the lake in several cozy hotels in the town of the same name.
