Description:
Futhills Stadium, formerly Burns Stadium, is a popular baseball stadium in Calgary. It is now used primarily for baseball, but was formerly the home arena for the Calgary Cannons. In September 2002, the team moved to New Mexico. After that, the owner of the stadium changed, and it became home to the team "Calgary Vipers", playing in the North American baseball league. In addition, the stadium is actively used by the local University, which has two teams at once. Here they spend their training and decisive matches.
The stadium was completed in 1966 and has undergone several renovations over the years. The most notable updates were added in 1985 and in 2004, when a huge screen appeared on the stadium to broadcast the most interesting moments of matches. The audience stands can accommodate 6,000 people.
