Alberta Air Force Museum

4520 Crowchild Trail SW, Calgary, AB T2T 5J4, Canada

About the company:

Opened to visitors in 2009, the Alberta Air Force Museum is a perfect addition to the constellation of the Calgary War Museums. The Air Force Museum displays models, artifacts, interactive displays and documentaries detailing the history of the Canadian Air Force.

The exposition begins with the very first attempts of man to fly into the sky - with drawings of the Leonardo da Vinci aircraft, created in the XV century. The Royal Canadian Air Force was founded in 1924. Talking about the different stages of formation of military aviation, the exposition ends with a narrative about the modern everyday life of Canadian military pilots.

Specialists of the museum try to make every effort to provide visitors with a complete and balanced amount of information and exhibits, including samples of measuring instruments, maps, military aircraft and even pilot uniforms of different times. Perhaps that is why most guests after visiting the museum give him the highest score.
