Bick National Park

Canada, Quebec Province, City of Rimuschi

Description:

Bick National Park was created in 1984 to preserve a section of the southern coast of the St. Lawrence River in the Canadian province of Quebec. A feature of the chosen place is an unusually indented coastline, replete with sheer cliffs, coves, grottoes and bays. No wonder the origin of the name of this area refers to the French word for the crest or top of the mountain. The highest point of the park - Champlain peak rises one thousand hundred and forty meters above sea level.

The total area of the park is about thirty-three square kilometers, half of which falls on the water surface. Many birds nest on the coastal rocks, including ordinary gaga, and rare species of plants grow. There is also a large colony of grey seals in the park.

About twenty-five kilometers of hiking trails and about fifteen kilometers of cycling routes are prepared for visitors to the park, suitable for a variety of levels of preparation. You can stay in the park in one of the three tent camps, and in the winter, exotic lovers will be offered to stay in one of the eight traditional yurts.
