Becancour Park

Becancour Industrial Park is located on the St. Lawrence River, near the city of Troyes Rivière in the Canadian province of Quebec. It was founded in 1960. There are several metallurgical and chemical plants in the park. Magnesium has been produced here for twenty years. This field has been the largest in the world for a long time. Rising energy prices and increased production capacity in China led to the closure of the plant in 2006.

Becancour has a port that can accommodate up to five vessels at a time. It is mainly used for the needs of the industrial park. Currently, this place attracts many tourists from different parts of the world.
