Brebeuf Park
Bourget Street, Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
Description:
Brebeuf Park is located on the banks of the Ottawa River and has a special historical significance - great explorers in ancient times used the river as a kind of gateway between the regions, and the territory of the park was the "landing" territory for such great people as John Franklin, David Thompson and Simon Fraser.
In addition, the park testifies to the time when in 1535-1536 Jacques Cartier and his team stopped to wait out the harsh winter period in this picturesque place.
Currently, the park offers its guests ample opportunities for picnics, cycling and walking, family leisure and a number of other activities.
