Helena Island is located in the overseas possessions of the Arctic Ocean. It is part of a large group of islands of the Canadian Arctic archipelago, the head of which is Bathurst Island located near the coast.
Near Helen Island are the bays of May and Young. Near its west coast is a small island Seymour.
