Ile-de-la-Visitation Nature Park

Ile-de-la-Visitation is a large natural park located on a river island within Montreal. The park is considered a popular place for tourism and walks, attracting many visitors to the island.

Ile-de-la-Visitation Nature Park was founded in 1984 and has an area of 34 hectares. Most of the park is covered with dense forest, through which pedestrian and bicycle paths are laid. On the coasts of the island are nesting river birds, so in the park Ile-de-la-Visitation you can meet a lot of ornithologists and birdwatchers. In winter, the island also does not remain without visitors - its convenient trails attract a large number of skiers.

In addition to the wonderful nature, the Ile-de-la-Visitation Park houses several historical attractions, in particular, well-preserved mills and other ancient buildings.
