Crescent Street

Business Centre of Montreal, Canada

Description:

Crescent Street is one of the oldest and most popular streets in Montreal, where a large number of entertainment venues, boutiques, art galleries and restaurants are concentrated.

Crescent Street appeared on a map of Montreal around 1860. The name "crescent" in translation into Russian means "crescent" - originally the street was just this shape. Later, after construction and redevelopment, the street was straightened, but the old name survived and took root. This street is very beautiful - most of the buildings here are very old, and their facades are decorated in the Victorian style, which looks solemn and elegant.

Overall, Crescent Street is one of Montreal’s busiest destinations, loved by both tourists and the city’s natives. A huge number of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and discos attract all lovers of nightlife and just seekers of entertainment. In addition, several times a year, Crescent Street hosts a fun fair, also attracting a lot of people.
