Stuart Museum

20 Chemin du Tour de l'Isle, Montreal, Canada

About the company:

The Stewart Museum is a Canadian historical museum, one of the largest in the country. The museum is located on the island of St. Helena, in Montreal, and for more than half a century attracts tourists with its interesting exhibits and exhibitions.

The museum was founded in 1955 by David McDonald Stewart. The museum is dedicated to the history of Canada, as well as the cultural influence of Europe and the world on the North American continent. Located in the building of the ancient British Arsenal, the Stuart Museum offers visitors an extensive collection of exhibits: its vaults contain tens of thousands of various artifacts, art objects and historical finds. Here you can see paintings, household items of American Indians, ancient weapons, maps, clothes, rare books and much more.

The Arsenal building itself is also an exhibit - in the courtyard of the Stewart Museum there is even a specially built high glass and metal tower, from the top of which you can see the historical buildings on St. Helena, as well as admire the excellent panorama of Montreal.
