About the company:

The Hotel Dieu de Montréal Hospital was built in 1645 by sister hospitals under the direction of Jeanne Mance. This hospital was one of the first in North America. Montreal’s first medical facility opened on October 8. The name can be translated as “the shelter of God.”

The first wooden building in 1656 was replaced by a stone building, in which there was a fire three times. Initially, the hospital was located in the territory of Old Montreal, but between 1859 and 1861 it was moved, where it is still.
