Dalhousie Station
Description:
Dalhousie Station is located in Montreal’s historic Old Town district. The somewhat heavy building of the station was built from 1883 to 1884 according to the project of the English architect Thomas Sorby. It is a typical classical style. On June 28, 1886, the first train departed from Montreal to Vancouver.
In 1986, the station building was reconstructed, after which it housed the National School of Circus Arts until 2003. Since 2004, the historic Dalhousie station has housed the office and studio of the famous Eloize circus. This Canadian circus is unusual - you can see very poetic, intellectual circus performances.
