Dufferin Islands Park

Dufferin Islands Nature Area, Portage Road, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada

Description:

Quiet secluded park Dufferin Islands is a popular pastime - on the territory of more than 10 hectares there are several small islets connected by bridges and paths.

Recently, the owners of the park have made a number of efforts to preserve fish in the waters of the park, installed feeders for birds. Guests of the park can participate in the fishing system "catch-let go", which attracts a huge number of visitors and at the same time does not violate the aquatic ecosystem.

From November to January, the park around the perimeter is equipped with several animated displays that act as lighting.

The park is open all year round and always offers a range of opportunities for picnics, swimming, walking with children or sports.
