Andrew Haydon Park
Description:
Andrew Haydon Park is located near the Bay of Britain on one of the banks of the Ottawa River. In this area you can often find wild river birds, which are attracted by swampy backwaters on the river. You can admire them almost closely, because over the years they have become accustomed to the constant presence of people. On the territory of the park there are several ponds, which were chosen for rest by migratory cossacks.
In addition to the wild corners in the park there is a small stage for open-air concerts, several spacious picnic fields and wonderful playgrounds. The latter are very popular with both children and guests of the city. In the summer there are crowds of children. Entire cities, complex labyrinths and even a small waterfall are built for the game.
Of particular interest is the area in which it is necessary to activate a small fountain. To do this, children must either pump water themselves, or use a cunning water duct system to switch the arrows to direct the flow to the desired channel. Usually after five minutes everyone is wet from head to toe, including interested parents. Here you will find water mills and dams, collapsible buildings and buildings that can be changed to your liking. The most remarkable thing is that the age of children can be from two years to infinity.
