Munis Bay Park

Ottawa, ON K1V, Canada

Description:

Munis Bay Park, located on the banks of the Rideau River, is one of the best places for summer holidays. The territory of the park is located inside a small artificial bay, which was formed as a result of the construction of a dam. The entrance to the park, which is open year-round, is on Riverside Drive opposite Ridgewood Avenue.

The best time to visit the park is summer. Here you will find some great picnic spots on the river bank, comfortable sandy beaches where you can swim. There is a special playground for children here. The whole park is permeated with a system of bicycle paths, which are suitable for a high-speed descent and for a quiet walk along the riverbed.

In winter, the Munis Bay Park is covered with snow and it turns into an ideal place for skiing. There is also a small ski school, where instructors are engaged with anyone of any age.
