Vincent Massey Park

Ottawa, ON K1V 2E4, Canada

Description:

Vincent Massey Park is a great place for meetings, picnics and family celebrations. The park is quiet, wooded footpaths, meadows, picturesque views and open grassy areas for sports.

The park was named after Governor General Vincent Massey. The area of the park is 28.9. There are many small secluded meadows in the park and almost no paths. Visitors to the park can choose their own route, exploring almost untouched nature. The park is especially impressive in winter, when the only evidence of human presence is a ski trampled in the snow. The park is quite large and, despite the fact that it is located in the city center, you can get lost in it.

In spring, the park is transformed, and runners and lovers of a healthy lifestyle appear on the paths freed from snow. In the summer, Vincent Massey Park becomes a shelter for many families who come here on a weekend picnic. And although it seems that the forest thicket is absolutely deserted, you can find civilized amenities in it. In the open spaces there are fountains and small open scenes, where musicians play on weekends.

Vincent Massey Park is the perfect family place. Alcoholic drinks and dog walking are strictly prohibited. If you decide to spend a day in nature, nothing will spoil your vacation.
