Fitzroy Provincial Park
Description:
Fitzroy Provincial Park is located on the banks of the Ottawa River and is an untouched patch of pine forest. Despite the wide river, it is almost impossible to get here by water. The bays of Flitzroy are stony and quite small. Their sandy beaches and shoals were chosen by vacationers during the summer holiday, but boats cannot get here.
Most of the park is a forest with centuries-old trees, in which white-tailed deer and many species of birds are often found. The park consists of terraces, gradually descending from the thicket to the river. The main beach is located near the island of Kedey, there is also a children's beach. The water level in the river in this area is quite low, and like nowhere else is suitable for relaxing with young children.
