Moncalm Bridge

Gatineau, QC J8X 2M2, Canada

Description:

The Montcalm Bridge in Gatineau is also known as the Eiffel Tower Bridge. The architects of this very small bridge were Paul Martino and Eric Haar, who took the Parisian style as a basis.

Above the stone bridge are two openwork steel arches, which were presented to the city by the mayor of Paris Jacques Chirac. They are the original part of the Eiffel Tower in Paris and were part of a staircase dismantled in 1990.

Therefore, if you do not have the opportunity to see Paris, but you are in Canada, do not miss the opportunity to touch the part of the famous Madame Ephel.
