Museum of Laurie

335 Laurier Ave East And, Ottawa, ON K1N 6R4, Canada

About the company:

The Laurier Museum is a house-museum dedicated to the memory of two of Canada’s most famous prime ministers, Sir Wilfrid Laurier and William Lyon Mackenzie King.

For more than fifty years, from 1897 to 1948, this house was the residence of Wilfried Laurier and was the center of Canadian political life. After his death, Mackenzie King ordered the building to be a historical museum. So that the place where the history of the camp was created was not forgotten and remained safe for future generations.

In addition to items belonging to Wilfried Laurier and William Lyon Mackenzie King, the museum features items owned by other Prime Ministers of Canada, as well as other politicians of the country.
