Nepean Museum
16 Rowley Avenue, Ottawa, Canada
About the company:
The Nepean Museum collection contains about 20,000 exhibits. It had been going since 1963, when Ottawa residents decided to create a museum-village telling the story of Nepean residents, but the idea did not find financial support.
In 1982 it was decided to create a museum of this subject. It was first housed in the local House of Culture, then in 1985 the Nepean Museum was moved to the Hugh Sproule Davidson rural house, and it was not until 1988 that it moved to the former city library building - to its current location.
The Nepean Museum often hosts entertainment activities for the whole family, such as tea ceremonies.
