Dinsmore Bridge

Dinsmore Bridge, Richmond, British Columbia, Canada

Description:

The Dinsmore Bridge is located in Canada and connects the banks of the Fraser River in Richmond and on C Island, where Vancouver International Airport is located. The 300-meter long bridge was built in 1969, has two car lanes and a pedestrian sidewalk on the west side. It's under airport management.

Until October 11, 2006, buses from Richmond were on the Dinsmore Bridge to Vancouver Airport. But it was on this day that a truck traveling under the bridge damaged the lower part of the structure, after which it was decided to limit the weight and speed of transport moving on the Dinsmore bridge, soon the movement of buses on it stopped.
