Danforth Avenue

Danforth St., Toronto, Canada

Description:

The avenue is named after road designer Asa Danfort. In 1799, he figured out how to connect two vital areas of the city - Sarborough and the coast of the Trent River, building a boardwalk. In 1801 the work was completed. After 50 years from the Avenue closer to Sarborough from the road to the city appeared Dunford Road. The names of the routes in both directions are very funny. Because of this, Dunford - Dunford many visitors get confused in the city. But the locals never cheat.

The difference between the roads of Danfort is that parallel to the avenue there are railways for trams.

In addition to its confusion in the names of the highway is famous for a huge number of attractions. So, tourists are attracted by the Greek Community House, Ralph Funeral House, Scarborough War Memorial. Visiting guests do not bypass the Large wooden shoe store and the shop from Bangladesh "Sweetness Award".
