Centerville Amusement Park

Toronto Islands Park, Toronto, Canada, Central Island

Description:

Centreville Amusement Park is a children’s amusement park with the slogan “It’s always sunny in Centreville!”

The park opened in 1967 on the site of Sunnyside Amusement Park, which closed in 1955. Initially, the goal of the creators of the park was to “revive” the island, because in former times there were mainly cottages of wealthy citizens.

The park runs from May to October. The park is located on Central Island in Toronto. In the park, tourists can find a lot of entertainment and attractions. Interesting miniature railway, which is one of the first exhibits of the park.

In addition, the park has many other vintage carousels, swan boats, a Ferris wheel in the form of a mill, and so on. There is a mini-train running through the park that can accommodate 5 tourists. You can also eat in the summer cafe. There's a grill.
