Canadian Air and Space Museum in Toronto
65 Rue Carl Hall, Toronto, ON M3K 2E1, Canada
About the company:
The Canadian Air and Space Museum of Toronto was dedicated to the achievements of aviation and the history of space exploration. He was originally housed in a de Havilland hangar, but was evicted by the owner in 2011 for a long delay in rent.
The hangar itself was built in Downsview Park and after a few years of its existence was bought by the Royal Canadian Air Force for use as a Downsview observation station. A few years later, the building was re-specialized as a military base, which was closed in 1996. In 1997, the Canadian Air and Space Museum was founded.
In the exposition of the museum there is a wide variety of aircraft of different times, from the appearance of aviation to the present time. Since 2012, negotiations have been underway with the Canadian Grand Airport in connection with plans to move the Aviation and Space Museum to its territory.
