Toronto Police Museum

40 College St., Toronto.

About the company:

The Toronto Police Museum is located in the atrium of the City Police Department. A small museum tells about the fight against crime in the XX century.

The police museum was set up in Toronto's main police department. Here they tried to recreate the atmosphere of the early XX century and show visitors how forensics developed, and what means of combating crime appeared since then. In the museum you can see a copy of a police car patrolling the streets of Toronto in the seventies of the XX century, a table at which graphologists and decipherers worked at the beginning of the last century. The museum even recreates a typical cell of the district police department, in which a wax prisoner languishes, pestered by plush rats.

The museum also has a souvenir shop that allows you to buy gifts with police symbols.

The museum is open on weekdays from 10 to 16 hours, but serves only organized groups and pre-registered visitors.
