Near Vancouver is Hollyburn Mountain. This is a suitable place in the city for those who do not have much time, but want to relax in the lap of nature.
From the top of the mountain there are beautiful views of the city and the Burrard Inlet Strait. You can also see the peaks of the Lion Mountain, similar in shape to the heads of lions.
Walking along the mountain roads, you can see green meadows, some of them full of berries in summer and early autumn. But it should be borne in mind that in these meadows there are bears who come to eat berries before hibernation. On the way to the mountain, tourists can meet lakes with cold and clean water.
On the territory of Hollyburn Mountain, dog walking is allowed, but only with the use of a leash.
In winter, the mountain is popular among ski lovers. Here you can go skiing and snowshoeing, the paths are marked with signs.
