Canadian Memorial Church

1825 W 16th Ave, Vancouver, BC V6J 2M4, Canada.

Description:

The Canadian Memorial Church was built on the initiative of Reverend George Fellis, an army priest. His goal was to create a memorial in memory of soldiers who died in the war.

The construction project was developed in 1923. In 1928, the church was opened to visitors.

A small church building is located in a rather picturesque place.

The church holds the Book of Memory, which contains the names of all Canadians who died in World War II and the Korean War. The book is available to visitors in coordination with the leadership of the church.

Also in the church you can hear organ music, attend lectures and watch films related not only to religion.

For those wishing to hold a wedding here, the church provides a huge hall and an appropriate range of services.
